We have critiqued Sanders but as always we tend to give it a wave as the election period closes. The huge amount of optimism expressed is we hope real: the idea of ‘Our Revolution’ from the 2016 period suggests that pessimism lurks in the expectation of ‘reformism=revolution’. Well, we can be wildly if not overly optimistic and consider that these non-revolutionary steps lead toward the chance of real transformation: these reformists are seeing ‘our revolution’, indeed.
