Machiavelli, realpolitik and the collapse of politics,

If we examine world history in the context of the eonic effect we see that it never induces, war, or realpolitik
Such are human inventions in the same way that rats are inexorable interlopers on civil infrastructure.
Machiavelli appears as a relative outsider to the modern transition, speaks to the history of medieval Italian city-states, is resisted over and over,
is challenged by Kant et al, and then into the field of modern politics irreversibly corrupting the
whole game and opening the door to the army of psychopaths that have taken over modern civilization.
Machiavelli confuses because he has two sides, a republican and an ethical proto-Nietsche.
He influenced the early founders of the US but then his other side entered, and we cans see how his legacy
is a slow-acting poison.
You cannot penetrate the realm of those who now control modern society with any argument according to
political ethics in any form and in any case the whole political caste adopts a species of Christianity, theism, and its
ethical canon, in total cynicism against the reality of Machiavellian cancer.
Noting much can avail here, but as with Afghanistan, the power elite goes too far and their game starts to collapse
Humanity has not learned how to conduct politics, not at all, and in the end ratocracy always prevails.

The US legacy if finished: how to start over?

The idea that the US could spend twenty years and a trillion dollars in Afghanistan, achieve nothing, and then walk away without being held accountable is the signature of death for the whole legacy of its once great experiment. The problem lurks: no revolution is possible: the monster is immortal and the catacomb for centuries more of psycopaths. Really? Something has to give way at some point. The scale of the failure is stupefying, but it could in principle be repaired, in practice…?
The core problem is capitalism, but behind that lies the disease of Machiavellianism, which has taken over human politics, vitiating its hopes for a new kind of society. To utter such a heresy makes the entire political corp of super asssholes cringe at the mere thought their little game beyond good and evil is somehow problematical and might be taken was from them. No chance of that, but… It may well be beyond reform. Born again political virtue is unlikely as species failure goes on and on as in Rome, until the whole monstrosity collapsed. Nietsche has triumphed over Kant, and American Karma now suffers the Bid Lie, and Trump, Avatar of Asssholes, seeds what the politicians all secretly want, fascism.

The fall of Kabul to the Taliban on 15 August 2021 is a major political and ideological defeat for the American Empire. The crowded helicopters carrying US Embassy staff to Kabul airport were startlingly reminiscent of the scenes in Saigon – now Ho Chi Minh City – in April 1975. The speed with which Taliban forces stormed the country was astonishing; their strategic acumen remarkable. A week-long offensive ended triumphantly in Kabul. The 300,000-strong Afghan army crumbled. Many refused to fight.

Machiavellis and the political psychopaths…

I take exception to modern politicians and vulgar Marxists, including Gramsci, for any fixation on the figure of the Prince from Machiavelli. I admit, I have never understood this thinker, but he has no one to blame but himself for the way he mixed two modes and laid down the false justifications for modern failed systems of government. Look at our politicians: they are all machiaveillians but none of them is a ‘Prince’. To take Machiavelli’s confused thinking and apply it to Tecumseh is on the level of the US cavalry going into extinction mode.
Sentimental scholars find Machiavelli a republican charmer. But the modern covert agency is built on the other side of Machiavelli, as crime, murder, and plunder of the ‘democratic’ politician beside the more familiar dictator. Look at the famous debate of Kant and Constand over lying by politicians. Kant had his problems but his categorical imperative had real import for politicians.
Now from there look at Trump, the apotheosis of the parody of a parody of the ‘karmic’ destiny of political lies: Donald Trump. Some deeper level of history is laughing with demonic cackles at the modern fantasy Prince, or politician, a universal brotherhood of human shit.

Antonio Gramsci, one of the leading Marxist theorists of the twentieth century and a founder of the Communist Party of Italy, understood the importance of the story, or in his case, specifically, the allegory.1 In his Prison Notebooks, he utilized his grasp of Italian history to make a compelling case for the role of organization and strategy in the Italian Revolution that he wished to see unfold.2 The specific and key piece to this story is the now famous reference to “the Modern Prince,” the role that Gramsci saw for the Communist Party in the context of Italy.3

Trump and Machiavelli: Does Morality Matter?

Man’s capacity for justice makes democracy possible; but man’s inclination to injustice makes democracy necessary. Reinhold Niebuhr, The Children of Light And the Children of Darkness To the many evangelicals who continue to support Mr. Trump in spite of his blackened moral record . . . Remember who you are and whom you serve. – More
