The issue of Ukraine is tricky and certainly invokes debate but this kind of sanctimonious diatribe claiming to speak for the left is itself violent and divisive. What is the left? We hardly have a left anymore so to claim to speak for it on an issue as tragic as Ukraine is pompous idiocy and violently provocative in the manner of some groupie left playing at Gandhian sanctity. To oppose Ukraine’s self-defense in this manner is itself a violent position because it says nothing to the ongoing destruction of the Ukrainian people.
There are so many things cockeyed in this article it is hard to know where to begin.
