Meditation, along with mindfulness, are not stress reduction therapies. This article is compelling although one might consider ‘meditation’ as a ‘selfish’ path beyond society in the sense of world renunciation, a sort of flipping bird at society as samsaric dead ending. The issue can’t be discussed in public, apparently. And the example of Buddha takes hold to the above with quick squelch. But the yogis of India seem to be going going goners, bye….
Again, meditation is not a therapy, although attempts to make it so seem to be alive and well. The definition of meditation eludes me even now, but there are a lot of good cliches as starting points
