Stealth evo-psych’s dishonest pitch…//Evolutionary scholars worry political trends are impeding progress in evolutionary psychology, according to new study

Evolutionary psychology has been consistently criticized because it gives a misleading picture of human evolution, the nature of man, and stealth promotion of social Darwinism, a suspicious case of capitalist ideology at work. The phrasing itself is dishonest by implying that the term evolution assumes the reality of natural selection as the process. We can accept that evolution applies to man but not via natural selection. We have no real proof of such a process and very incomplete on evolution in general
