I hope this is the same as the book. Draper is ruthless, …and too kind. He goes over the change of meaning in the key terms.

The whole meme of the dictatorship of the proletariat should be dropped and the lesson learned: that a dictator will take power and claim to represent the working class even as he destroys their unions.
