update: I was taken by surprise by this article, at Counterpunch no less, that I did a double-take at the interpretation, one of a spectrum of what as we stand back is the monsterous birth of the war on terror. The link is to commentary on this remarkable article. The truth about 9/11 is starting to come out into the open, a decades-long wait by many. It is hard to reorient one’s thinking. But many were suspicious from the start of the official account. It took me five years until 2006 to realize the truth. Let’s hope that a general public reckoning is forthcoming. But the truth is a calamity for the no doubt already tarnished reputation of the US
