Our discussions of religion, modernity, secularism and and a radical left might benefit from the larger perspective on world history given by the
the model of the eonic effect.
This perspective embraces equally all the opposites that cause collisions of world views. The reason is not hard to find: it creates a matrix of
global universal history that isn’t dogmatic about pointless collisions of idealism/materialism, religion/secularism, and everything else.
