BLM and socialism….//How protests spurred Corporate America into action on race, inequality

The Black Lives Matter movement should be wary of ending up in corporate domination mode and ending up in a conservative mode. The term ‘social justice’ points a vast range of issues and social needs, including economic, socialist, climate all in the context of a pandemic. All these movements could be set aside as the fight against race is bribed into an ambiguity of intent. These corporate entities will never support social justice in full although they may well support the issue racism.

Outrage over George Floyd’s killing at the hands of Minneapolis police officers has pushed America to the brink, but has also spurred numerous big companies and brands into a new form of activism that’s tailor made for the digital era.
