The mastery of consciousness isn’t achieved by scientific knowledge

These facile views are comic to say the least. A huge obstracle stands in the way of this sudden escalation to godhood. Man cannot master his own consciousness, as every new ager will swiftly remind these evolutionary psychologists.

The mastery of one’s consciousness (as self-consciousness in one lingo) is a tremendously difficult effort, witness the classic struggle of the figure Buddha. Some will say there is nothing to achieve, that man already has this consciousness.
Good for him, but he remains raw…

Biology has failed totally on this issue…

Dr Jane Goodall noted when comparing Donald Trump to an anthropomorphised image of the ‘male’ chimpanzee – and it is the methodologies and exalted stature of the sciences, including history, that have conferred upon us this mantle of knowledge. As Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind author, Yuval Noah Harari, opines: “Today [humanity] stands on the verge of becoming a god, poised to acquire not only eternal youth, but also the divine abilities of creation and destruction.”
